Base Unit Contains:
- Six standard redundant hot-plug power supplies.
- Nine hot-plug redundant fans.
- Two chassis management controllers.
- iKVM module.
- Six power cords.
- Slots for eight full height, sixteen half height, or thirty-two quarter height blades.
- Pass through modules (Ethernet, Fibre Channel or Infiniband). MUST BE SELECTED.
- Switches (Ethernet, Fibre Channel or Infiniband). MUST BE SELECTED.
- Call us for 120V power options, the M1000E supports 110V-120V or 240V AC Power, the Unit Specified Above is 240V.
Important To Know:
- The blades are connected by midplane to six slots in the back, three on each side, for the switches and pass throughs.
- Will allow Ethernet, Fibre Channel or Infiniband environments.
- Fabrics can mix, but the slots on each side must match for redundancy.
- Will function without redundancy, but the corresponding slot on the other side must remain empty.
- Slot A1 + A2 pair is reserved for Ethernet LOMs only.
- Slot B1+B2 and C1 + C2 pairs can run Ethernet, Fibre Channel or Infiniband.
- Add blades by visiting the listings for a custom M610, M710, or M620. Call us if you need M420s.
- When building the blades for this enclosure, choose a fabric (Mezzanine Card) for each blade to match the environment(s); i.e. Ethernet, Fibre Channel or Infiniband.
